BLD Connection Strengthens Leadership with New Board Members and Officer Appointments
New dealer directors and officer roles announced for the 2025–26 membership year
BLD Connection is strengthening its leadership team with the election of new board members and officer appointments following year-end board meetings in Bloomington, Minnesota. These updates mark an important step as the association enters the 2025–26 membership year with a renewed focus on growth, member engagement, and industry leadership.
BLD Connection welcomed two new dealer directors to its board: Jake Buswell of All-American Do it Center in Tomah, WI and Troy Bosch of Bosch Lumber Company in Dickinson, ND.
In addition, Mark Russell of Millard Lumber in Waverly, NE was installed as 2nd Vice Chairman, joining the organization’s leadership team alongside Scott Enter (Chairman), Brett Hanson (1st Vice Chairman), Brian Wendt (Past Chairman), and Jennifer Leachman (Treasurer). Jason Meester also extended his term as South Dakota Dealer Director for another three years, ensuring continuity of representation.
The association also recognized the contributions of outgoing board members: Sam Nasset (Crane Johnson Lumber Company, Fargo, ND), Nate Ehlen (Sav-Rite Building Center, Neillsville, WI), Lynn Trask (Spahn & Rose Lumber Company, Reinbeck, IA), and Mike Bertrand (Lloyd Lumber Company, North Mankato, MN). Their service helped guide the organization through key initiatives and set the stage for future success.
These leadership updates reflect BLD Connection’s broad regional reach across the Midwest and underscore the association’s commitment to supporting independently owned lumberyards and their suppliers. With both new perspectives and experienced leadership at the table, BLD Connection is well-positioned to deliver valuable programs, events, and advocacy in the year ahead.
